Everyday I try to take a picture of Cory to text to Anthony while he's at work. These were just a few. He's become so mobile and busy these days! It's fun to see how he's developing. Now, if we can just get him to say Mommy instead of Daddy all the time......

Hugh Cummings

Anthony's sweet grandpa Hugh passed away yesterday. He was one of the best men I've ever known. I love this picture of him and his wife Janet from this summer.

The Birthday Boy!

Cory turned one on Saturday! It was so fun to have the family over for cake and ice cream, and of course for the presents. Cory has been playing with the fun gifts ever since and doesn't ever want to stop! Anthony took all the good photos of Cory (eating cake, opening presents, etc.) but here are some from my phone that I took prior to the party.

11 Months.... and a couple days!

Cory-monster is now 11 months old as of the 26th! I can't believe he will be one next month! Here are some of the highlights of month 11:

  Got his first teeth! Teething has been a bit of a sleep nightmare, but somehow we survive.


• 
  
  Is now attached to mommy and gets upset if I leave the room (sweet, but can be annoying).


• 
  
  Dances to music... ask Anthony to show you his video of Cory dancing to the Mission Impossible theme song!


• 
  
  Furniture walking like nobody's business!


• 
  
  Chases Rocko around and squeals with delight whenever Rocko enters a room.


• 
  
  He "fake laughs" whenever he hears someone laughing. He likes to be part of the conversation. If you fake laugh at him, he'll do it back! So funny!


• 
  
  He had his first haircut by Grandpa Doug (I admit, I miss his long hair).


• 
  
  Still prefers mommy to eating solids foods. He better change his mind soon, because mommy's starting to dry up!

10 Months!

Cory turned 10 months old yesterday! I would have posted about it yesterday, but we were still traveling home from California. He did so well in the car and on the trip. I think this is the perfect age to take a road trip with him. He is so awesome!

Our trip was a blast! It was great to go with Anthony's family and I'm so glad I was able to see my sister and her girls. I'm not posting any photos of the trip yet, because Anthony has most of them on his camera (the ones I took with my phone aren't the best). Once he gets around to moving them to the computer, I'll post some pictures then. Here's one I took with my phone of Cory and Daddy (my two favorite people) at LegoLand.
