Stressed

The past couple of weeks have been a bit stressful. It's been very hard to balance taking care of Cory and work. Sometimes, I think it'd be easier if I actually went into the office so I could separate home life from work. I know I've been blessed with this opportunity to work from home, so I don't want to sound ungrateful. Cory is amazing, and it's my work that's stressing me out, not him. Being a mom is way more fun that my job.
I have an amazing husband. He has come home to a frantic and stressed out wife the last couple of days and he's dropped everything to help me. Making dinners, taking the baby for a while, and just being there. I'm hoping I can figure out how to be "present" for both Cory and for work without either one feeling neglected. We may need to look into finding someone who can come over for a couple of hours a day while I'm on conference calls.

I just have to brag a little bit. I just can't get enough of Cory. He is so cute, sweet and smart. His big smile lights up the room. He's easy going and it doesn't take much to make him laugh. He is pure JOY.

Working woman update

Well, my first week of real work is almost over. I think my co-workers forgot that I am only working 20 hours a week. They keep assigning me things and I pretty much already have 20 hours of meetings a week. It's been a bit difficult to get Cory to stay quiet during my meetings. Anthony has been a big help in the mornings, but most of my meetings are after he leaves for the day. I'm sure in time, I'll be able to figure it out.

On a side note, Anthony got me Zumba for Mother's Day. If you don't know what Zumba is, you should check it out. It's a way fun workout (you feel kind of lame doing it at first) where you will be doing it for an hour and it just whizzes by! I've been shaking my groove thang!

Working Woman

Last week I started working again. It mostly involved trying to get the equipment I need to work from home. Now I have it (all but a dedicated phone) and am starting to truly work. Anthony stays home in the morning until about 9:00 so I can have at least two hours of uninterrupted work. Then, it's all up to me to balance a sweet wiggly baby and work. I'll update later this week to let you know how it's going. In the mean time, Cory is in his cage.

Anthony Graduates with his Master's!

Anthony graduated with his Master's degree and walked on Friday. We are so proud!

Toes

Cory has a thing for his toes. He's fond of his left big toe. "Whatcha lookin' at?, Huh?"

5 Months!

Shopping at Harmon's....being a little festive. There are more Easter photos to come. We just need to get them off of Anthony's camera. We had a blast hanging out with his cousins, Aunts and Uncle as well as Grandma Kris and Grandpa Doug up in Park City!

Cory rolled over for the first time unassisted on April 22nd while visiting the Halverson's. Such a show off! He's 5 months old today (April 26th). The time has just flown by! He's just so much fun!
