I am now officially converted. I had a range of wall textures and colors when I started painting the bathroom. One wall still had old paint, one wall was completely plaster and the other two walls were new greenboard with mud seams. One gallon covered the whole bathroom and two coats (no primer) covered the whole room completely, and it looks amazing! The price was hefty at $52/gal, but I figure it was sixes in the end since I didn't have to buy separate primer. Plus, I got it done in two coats! That is unheard of for red!
