Hard Working Men

Last Friday, my dad and Anthony worked all day on putting down the flooring. Dad had to leave around 5, so Anthony wrapped up the work. It looks amazing! This week I'll be grouting the floor.

Once the floor is fully grouted, we can then put up the beadboard and put the toilet in! Hallelujah! It will be so nice to not have to waddle down the stairs in the middle of the night at 6 1/2 months pregnant!

As you can tell, we took a break from the shower tile. That tiling takes about 10X the amount of time as the floor due to all the little intricate cuts. We'll pick that back up soon (hopefully, Anthony's family could help us finish that up .... hint, hint). Then it is on to all the finish work. We ordered the crown moulding but it won't be in until October 11th. That's okay since we are hoping that is the final piece to this ever lasting bathroom remodel.
