Dizzy Dog

I think that Rocko is definitely preparing us for a baby. Over the last week or so, he's been really dizzy and acts like he has vertigo. He's been tilting his body to the right (sways) and hugs the wall when he walks. The other day, we heard him fall down the stairs (so sad!).

I took him into the vet thinking that it was probably another inner ear infection (he gets ear infections all the time). The vet checked his ears, his eyes and even made him do some agility exercises to see if something was wrong with a leg or paw that was causing him to sway or shift his weight. The vet couldn't find anything wrong with him but told me to buy him Bonine (which is similar to Dramamine) to help with the dizziness. I gave it to him today and he's been super sleepy ever since.

If it doesn't get any better in the next week or so, they will have to do blood work and possibly even an MRI to check for a brain tumor. He's generally too young to develop a tumor by now, so they really don't think that is the problem. The vet thinks there might be something in the air from when we did the bathroom demolition that could be bothering him, but there's really no way to tell.

Cross your fingers for our sweet little puppy dog that he's okay and that this dizzy spell will end soon!
